After nearly a decade of evolution, the Wyndemere Governance Model has grown to become an industry leader by clearly defining the roles of our Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, and Management Team. By adhering to our Values, Vision, and Mission and utilizing a Policy Governance model, our team is able to execute day-to-day operations in a strategic fashion and deliver the exceptional experiences that our Membership desires.


The Wyndemere Governance Model

Wyndemere is governed by a Board of Directors who focus on setting our strategies, objectives, goals, and provide long term vision while encouraging open-interaction with our Membership. Our Chief Executive Officer, and their executive management team, are responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Club, values our Members and Staff, and supports our ongoing vision and mission. Wyndemere effectively manages our financial, human, and natural resources responsibly, and remains legally and ethically compliant in all business dealings. The Club manages financial matters with prudence and diligence to preserve the long-term financial stability and security of Wyndemere, while remaining committed to continuously improving our facilities and member offerings.

The Board Policy Manual

Wyndemere's Board Policy Manual sets forth Board Governance Principles, then delineates its roles and responsibilities in to four categories:

  1. Strategic Outcomes
  2. Governance Process
  3. Management Delegation
  4. Executive Limitations and Responsibilities

Each category begins with a global policy statement then adds specific policies to support the global policy statement. The Board Policy Manual contains ALL board policies. An important aspect of the system is that all policies are to be monitored annually.
